Welcome to the Episcopal Association for College Work home page.  The EACW ministers to the students, faculty and staff in institutions of post-secondary education in the Upper Peninsula.  We do this through a variety of activities.  We award scholarships and fellowships to attend school or educational conferences.  We sponsor programs of intellectual and Christian content which challenge participants to reevaluate and reconsider their beliefs.  We provide for and encourage a ministry of Christian fellowship and community.  We encourage active participation in mission and ministry to people in need.

The Episcopal Association for College Work believes that intellectual growth and spiritual growth are related and synergistic.  Our own baptismal vows ask God for a discerning mind.  Education, whether in academia or in the trades, broadens the mind and experience.  It is often a time when spiritual horizons are expanded and ideals are challenged, redefined, and reaffirmed.  We wish to encourage and reward those individuals who pursue both intellectual and spiritual growth at the same time.
